A breaking story coming out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has gone viral on social media after a firefighter captured something truly horrific on his smartphone as he streamed a video over Facebook Live. The disturbing footage he captured has some people afraid of ever visiting the popular tourist destination ever again.
According to local news source Myrtle Beach Online, volunteer firefighter Bubba Hinson, who was in Myrtle Beach for a little vacation while he attended the SC Fire-Rescue convention, captured the shocking video footage when he aimed his camera at a group of people below him on the ground who he at first thought were dancing. The bloodbath that followed made it clear to the horrified onlookers that this was no dance.

“If you’re watching this, stay away from Fourth Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard,” Hinson told viewers on his Facebook Live video. “There’s multiple people been shot!” What originally drew Hinson’s attention to the crowd of people was the stalled traffic on the street below. It quickly became apparent that the thugs down on the street weren’t dancing as a brawl turned instantly into a shooting right before his eyes.
“I thought they were dancing. That’s why I started filming it,” Hinson said Sunday after checking out of the Holiday Sands North. “Then, they started fighting. Then, they started shooting.” One thug in a white t-shirt fired point blank at his opponents instantly dropping several people to the ground, including one woman.
Myrtle Beach police were called to the area of Fifth Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at approximately 12:25 a.m. to break up a large crowd of people. As they converged on the crowd people started running in all different directions as shots rang out. One armed security guard was shot by the gunman and also returned fire.
Directly after the shooting, people can be seen in Hinson’s video raising their hands in shock and pacing around the bodies laying on the sidewalk. The injured security guard is seen laying behind the bushes as the gunman carjacks a driver and steals his vehicle. According to local news source WNCN, the shooter was apprehended by police a short time later on Sunday morning.
The footage of a bunch of lawless thugs brawling on the sidewalk until one of them pulls a gun is extremely disturbing, but unfortunately, this is the reality of what America faces on a large scale after years of glorifying the wrong lifestyle in movies and music, then setting the precedence that you can get away with it because if the cops try to stop you, they’re “racist,” thanks to the false narrative promoted by Black Lives Matter.
Many people interviewed by reporters say they won’t be returning to Myrtle Beach anytime soon, and rightfully so. However, unless we bring law and order back to our country, this kind of carnage is likely to be found on streets throughout America. It’s not racist to condemn the thug lifestyle or to use deadly force to neutralize such criminals when necessary. It’s time we acknowledge that uncomfortable truth and rightfully call out these punks who think they are above the law.
